I spent the weekend exploring Moab with my fruit snack obsessed friends.

The last couple months, I have formed a habit of running away every single weekend to escape the city. This weekend was no exception. If you’ve followed me or my blog for any amount of time, you know that I LOVE Moab, UT. It’s only a couple hours from the place that I call home to this red rock reprieve of mine. (I’m from the Salt Lake City Area).

The following photos were taken at various places throughout Arches National Park. As you’ll see, it sprinkled rain on us all weekend long… but I’ve always believed that a rainy weekend in the wild is better than a sunny day in the city! I hope you don’t mind me throwing in a couple portraits of my models-in-the-making friends. I am trying to master the art of photography!

As always, let me know if you have any questions!

Happy Travels!

Have you tried out the new iPhone 7 portrait feature? It’s unreal! This photo was taken by a stranger to whom I handed my phone! Most of the other photos in the post are done on my professional camera. 🙂
El Capitan, our fearless leader and constant friend.
This is Landscape Arch. It can be found at the end of a super easy 2 mile out and back trail in Arches National Park.
I like to think that God is in even the smallest details.
This lovely scene is Corona Arch, found a couple miles up Potash road.
Life’s better with a trail side snack.
Or so James seems to think.
The view always makes the fight worth it.

Jared and Kate. Newlyweds. And also the nicest humans.
You already know who it is!

The magic and magnitude of Moab cannot be overstated. There’s a reason I end up here so often. It’s the perfect red rock rehab for my weary soul.

I hope that you are wandering well and wandering often.

xoxo,

Bradie Jill
