I spent the loveliest day up Big Cottonwood canyon getting lost in all the right ways in pursuit of the summits of the notorious Twin Peaks. They are hallmarks of the Wasatch Range. The trail involved a lot of class 4 scrambling–so it’s safe to say that a good workout was had. Round trip, this hike is only 7.5 miles but it gains over 5,000 feet. October is the perfect month to explore this area. The hillsides were littered with vibrant colors and the crisp, cool mountain air was the perfect greeting for me as I begin my week long fall break. Life has been a whirlwind of happy and stressful days. I’ve got two big announcements coming up that I can’t wait to share with you all. Until then, happy adventures my friends.
